This is a microblog where I share news about my current work on projects, thoughts, everyday stories, impressions of music, photos and videos, and sometimes links to interesting posts by others. This site collects every post ever published in the project’s channels:

The Instagram profile existed before this project and became part of it. Only photo posts #impression are published there. Two more of my old profiles, which I no longer maintain, were imported here as a prototype of this project:

Posts

A typical post is a short note, most often with images, video, audio or links. Post text starts out in Russian, with a mandatory English translation. If there is no text, there is always an attachment. This is what a post looks like on the site:

A post identifier like #2024-05-12-1 is the publication date plus the post’s number for that day. It never changes and serves as the post’s address on the site. The tags under a post reflect the topics it covers. When a post is published in the project’s channels, the tags become hashtags.

Not everything in this blog is written by me: some posts are reposts of other authors’ material. A repost always links to the original: the text sits on a tinted background, and above it is a source badge with the source domain that opens the original in a new tab. This is what a repost looks like:

If a post contains a quote, it is translated into both languages and set apart in its own block. The line with the author, work or context follows after an em dash:

Reactions and comments

The site collects reactions and comments from the services itself: every post shows likes, views, reposts and other responses. This is what the statistics block looks like:

Clicking the numbers opens the list of services where the post is published, and the comments, together with replies and author names, appear under the post text on its page. To leave a reaction or a comment, open the post in one of the services: after the next data update your reaction will appear on the site too. The site has no comment form of its own: discussion happens where the post is published.

Reactions from X and MAX are not collected because of API restrictions: access to them on X is paid, and MAX does not provide reactions through the integration in use yet.

The Statistics section summarizes likes, views and comments across all posts, and below that is the follower dynamics in the project’s main channels.
