Music in games has always been of great importance to me, as well as movie soundtracks. Here are some basic properties of good game music:
- Atmosphere (unity with the game)
- Memorability (it is remembered outside the game)
- Melodicity (contains pronounced melodies)
- Unobtrusiveness (does not distract from the game)
- Self-worth (sounds great on its own)
Morrowind, Harry Potter.. Soule was cooking
